So often I hear that senior guys “don’t care about their senior pictures.” But I honestly don’t think that’s the truth at all. I think senior guys DO CARE and are looking for creative shots, cool locations, and pictures that make them look good. And they want to feel decently comfortable during the process.

Though I photograph far more girls than guys, I love the opportunity to work with senior guys and step up the senior picture game for them, as well. I got the chance to shoot Eric’s senior pictures because his twin sister Allie really wanted to work with me. A running back with Allendale High School’s football team, he wanted to incorporate his sports interest into his shoot, and also liked the idea of an industrial setting as well as a few autumn outdoor shots.

I had a fantastic time working with Eric – but the ultimate compliment came from him when he told me, “For real, though, these pics are great!”
