“All I want is a photo of me jumping off the Grand Haven Pier. That’s what I’ve been dreaming about forever.”

Well, nothing like a tall order of a one-take shot to make both of our hearts beat a little faster! I mean, there’s no do-overs for a picture like that, you know?

I decided I was up to the challenge.

Angelenia, a Class of 2015 senior at Allendale High School, was full of energy and enthusiasm, and I loved her spunk and her unique, edgy style right away. When I found out she loved boxing, I knew she should have some great shots showcasing her strength and fierceness! As the plan for her shoot and outfits came together  I found some great spots around downtown Grand Haven for the first part of her shoot, after which we planned to head the state park for beach and pier shots.

Everything came together perfectly the day of her shoot – complete with extra awesome makeup by Linda G. Angelenia completely rocked her session, don’t you agree?
