Lizzie is a bright and talented senior at Kalamazoo Christian High School who contacted me last summer looking to have her senior pictures taken in Holland, Michigan. An avid tennis player, Lizzie had spent lots of time training and playing at Hope College’s tennis courts, and her family loves spending time in Holland, as well! I was thrilled that she wanted to work with me!

She and her parents loved the idea of using the beautiful autumn woods and fields of Van Raalte Farms for most of her shoot, where we would also feature one of her other many talents, playing the violin! The day was beautiful, but Lizzie was even more so, and her gentle spirit and brilliant smile were a delight to photograph!

As the sun set behind the tennis courts of Hope College, Lizzie posed, tennis racquet in hand, to wind up a beautiful evening. Working with her and her mom was an absolute pleasure!
