Sophie’s downtown Grand Rapids Senior Portrait Experience was such an amazing treat! I had an incredible time photographing her sister, Emma, last summer, so I was especially honored that Sophie, a senior at GR Catholic Central, wanted to work with me as well!

Sophie’s session took place at a few fresh modern spots I’d found in downtown Grand Rapids as well as a fabulous urban setting in the heart of old industrial GR. She is just a stunning young woman, beautiful inside and out, and with her enthusiastic and outgoing personality, we clicked instantly! I just adore her to pieces!

And oh, her session was just amazing! Killer professional makeup (applied by Faces by Linda G), spot-on outfits, lots of laughter, plus a fierce serious face – nearly every shot was incredible! It was almost impossible narrowing down which ones to share in this post!

And Sophie’s thoughts?

“I was worried about where I was going to take my photos, but Jennifer found unique and beautiful locations that really made my senior pictures stand out from all of my friends’ pictures! She was super easy-going and made it an environment where it was easy to be myself. I think that’s why my pictures turned out so well! It was super fun, and I felt like a model!”
