Pink and purple flowers. That was the thing Nikayla most wanted as a setting for her senior pictures. Pink and purple flowers. And let me tell you, when a senior asks for something specific, I will do everything in my power to deliver!
Nikayla, a senior at East Kentwood High School, met with me last June to make plans for her senior pictures. She loved the idea of a modern downtown look for her photos, and also really wanted a beautiful field of flowers. Pink and purple flowers, to be specific. With her warm and bubbly personality, those colors were the perfect fit for her style!
The day of her shoot, crazy thunderstorms rumbled through Grand Rapids, knocking out power at her house! But makeup artist, Debra Traylor of Flawless Beauty by Debra, came to the rescue, working her magic not only with makeup, but also stepping up to style Nikayla’s hair as well! Nikayla arrived for her shoot ready to turn heads, and even in the heat and humidity, her shoot was amazing! And yes, I found some gorgeous pink and purple flowers just for her. :)
Nikayla, thank you so much for the opportunity to be a part of your senior year! Working with you was amazing, and I wish you all the best for the future!
